NMRC April Fool, 2003

At 12am Eastern time on April Fool's Day, the NMRC homepage was made to look as if it were defaced by a group called Hacking For AnimaL Lives (HALL), including incriminating "evidence".

At 12pm, the regular homepage was reinstalled, to make it look as if NMRC had recovered from the intrusion. However, a couple of hours later, the homepage was again "defaced" by HALL.

This last defacement remained for a couple more hours, until HTTP service was stopped as if nmrc.org had been taken offline. When service was restored at 12am the following day, it was to premiere the first stage of the site redesign, and included a small wrap-up by Sioda on trust in the community.
